I stopped at a point that I couldn't find a way forward and just marked it solved. I went over it and over it but I couldn't see a move.

I may have a small trick to help you continue from the point where you got stuck.
Do you see the ‘3’ in the last column? Notice that the column just before it does not contain any number as high as 3—it only has 1 and 1. So the ‘3’ must be placed in such a way that you are not using two adjacent rows that are supposed to finish with a number greater than 1.
For example, imagine you try to place the last column’s ‘3’ at the bottom of that column. The rows, from bottom to top, must finish with 6, 3, and 4. You would then end up creating another ‘3’ in the column just before the last one. But that column is supposed to be filled only with ‘1’s. So you can’t place the ‘3’ in that position.
Once you rule out the three last blocks, and the first one for the same reason, you can place 2 squares out of 3 in the last column.

Same trick with the '6' in the first row. The bigger number of the 2nd row is '2'. So you can't use for the 6 more than 2 adjacent columns which begin with numbers greater than 1. If you're not one of these no-X-fanatics, you definitively can cross out the 3 first squares of the first row.
