Difficult. I have saved this puzzle in order to solve it later :(

Almost impossible I would say. I have filled 26 squares but I don't know how to go on...looking at the comments below it seems solvable, I don't know how.

I was giving up at 23 squares - now I have to look for the last three!

This is a good challenge! Keep up the good work, Lalopop!
replyTook me a long time to do but the picture looks great! Thank you!

I can't say because this time no special solution methods were needed.
In my opinion, it was all pretty straight forward. Easy solving within 10 minutes.

Okay but then what's the move from here? I can't see it - there must be a trick that you know and I don't

If you take a hint after finishing the obvious in row 12 (all hints are logical hints to learn from), it will undoubtedly show that r9c6 cannot be black. If it were black, then the three 1's to the left of it wouldn't fit. Quite basic if you ask me, but hey, what was challenging yesterday might be easy tomorrow.

Oh duh I don't know how I missed row 12, that's an obvious move that I normally get. I swear there's a special sort of mental blindness that hits me in these cases. Also r7c11 and r7c12 are also now obvious where before they were not.
r9c6 not black I can't see though. I don't see the logic there at all. Three 1's easily fit to the left. So I went for a hint and it was that r7c7 is not black. Which I also don't see the logic for.
I'm definitely a lot better than I was when I started a few months ago but clearly have a long way to go yet. Thank you for your generous assistance.

"Three 1's easily fit to the left". At first yes, but they wouldn't fit if r9c6 was black. Ergo, r9c6 MUST be crossed out. I can't be more clear.
Same goes for r7c7. If it was black and you placed the 5 at the end, then the 1 (let alone two 1's) couldn't fit in between the 2 and the 5.
I can't help you any further. Foremost, you have to learn how to interpret a smart hint. You have to understand these basic tricks before you can move on to more complicated challenges. Have fun :)

Very hard to get started...I needed a hint...first time ever. Not sure which line was the key to the start!

I used the vertical lines 4,6 and 1,5,1,2,1, and the horizontal line 7,2 as my start key. Still had to have one guess to get it later. Tough but great puzzle.

Brilliant. Good challenge, but solvable. And even for the small size, I could see what is it at the first look.
replyI got to 41 filled in. I'm going to print this one out to try some what-ifs
replydone. this one's a keeper, so hard to solve. I also learned some new logic methods I never considered!

a little tricky at first, then it fell right into place
replyGiven that this is Lalopop's 7th published nonogram I think that it remarkable that she has done so very well in the difficulty stakes!
If you search for 15 x 15 puzzles and sort by difficulty descending - over 800 come up.
This puzzle is 7th for difficulty!!!
Well done Lalopop

Sure that'll get you the answer, but if you wanted that you could just click 'Answer' and see that without bothering. The solving is the fun part.
reply7.5 min - the keys are the 7/2 row and the 6/4 and 1/5/1/2/1 columns. Nice puzzle, but I didn't really think it was all that hard.

I found these easier than most of Lalopop's. Maybe I'm learning more tricks. They're always a challenge!
Thanks Lalopop!
replyThanks Lalopop!
I discovered how to search by author and found a few Lalopop puzzles from last year that I hadn't done yet! This is one of the hardest ever. I was determined not to take a hint or a guess, so I left it overnight, and sure enough, the next step was clear this morning. I don't know how you make these small puzzles so tricky, but please keep 'em coming!
replyVery tricky! Gave up earlier, but came back today and solved it.
reply4 minutes, no hints. Everyone is exaggerating how hard it is
